Oxfordshire is a location county rather than a studio county, and that determines what a craft vehicle needs from a unit base.
There is no soundstage in the county and the work here is on location: college quadrangles and city streets in Oxford, estates and parkland to the north, market towns that need little dressing, former airfields and open Cotswold countryside. Unit bases are correspondingly informal — fields, farm tracks, gravel hardstanding and park-and-ride car parks. The trailer is a horsebox conversion carrying its own water tanks, so no plumbed supply is needed, and it runs from a 13A socket or from a generator where a location has no supply at all.
