Our ethos

how we do things

We are a small mobile coffee business from the Cotswolds. We would rather tell you what we actually do than what we intend to get round to, so this page is the short, honest version of both.

Origin

why we started

Wold Coffee Limited is new — the company was formed in 2026. The experience behind it is not.

Our owner spent years working craft on film and television productions: feeding crews through early calls, weather that could not be argued with and days that ran long. That was somebody else's craft service rather than ours, but it is where the habits come from.

Turn up before anyone needs you. Keep the hatch open. Make the coffee properly even when nobody is watching. Leave the pitch the way you found it. None of that is complicated — it is just what we do.

Principles

how we work

Four things that do not change, whether it is a wedding, a car park on a Tuesday morning or a film set at five.

A real barista
One barista on the machine from the moment we set up to the moment we pack down. Everything is made to order in front of you, and the second cup is as good as the first.
Set up, cleared down
We arrive early enough to be ready before anybody wants us, and we clear down properly afterwards. You should not be able to tell where the trailer stood.
One price for the booking
We quote for the whole booking rather than per head, with the travel in the price, so you know what it costs before we set off. Wold Coffee Limited is not VAT registered, so our invoices carry no VAT.
The boring paperwork
We hold public and products liability and employers' liability insurance, our equipment is PAT tested, we are registered with the council for food hygiene, and there is allergen information on everything we serve. Ask and we will send the certificates over.

Sustainability

treading lightly

We are a young business and we would rather be straight with you than claim more than we can show. Here is where we have actually got to.

  • Cups, lids and stirrers are compostable rather than just recyclable.
  • Where a site has nowhere to put it, our rubbish leaves with us rather than filling a bin somebody else has to empty.
  • One trailer serves a whole site, which is a good deal fewer journeys than everyone driving off to find a coffee somewhere else.
  • We work from Chipping Norton and most of our bookings are within an hour of it, so the majority of what we do is genuinely local.

There is more we want to do here, and we would rather add it to this page once it is true than promise it in advance.

come and have a chat

If you look after a site, a venue or a car park and think a coffee trailer would suit it, tell us about the place and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
