industry and association events

AGMs, members' evenings, awards nights and industry socials. We keep a drinks break moving, stay on for the shift after the speeches, and serve alongside a bar rather than competing with it. Tell us the room's schedule and headcount and we'll look after the rest.

Our owner has worked craft on productions including Avengers, Spider-Man and Star Wars — and to be straight with you, that was somebody else's craft service rather than WoldCoffee's. The company is new; the experience behind it is not.

Industry & association events

how we run a room

Open all evening
Everybody comes out at the same moment and we're ready for it, then we stay on rather than packing up as soon as the room thins out.
The shift after the speeches
Rooms don't empty when the formal part ends. We stay on for the stretch where the actual conversations happen, which is usually the reason people came.
Alongside a bar, not against it
A bar and a coffee trailer want different people at different points in an evening. We agree the times with the venue so the two take turns rather than compete.
Somebody friendly on the machine
A real barista at the hatch who is good company as well as quick, which is most of what makes a break feel like a break.

We run craft services for productions as well as events, which is where the same operators spend the rest of the year: craft services for film and TV.

From you

what we need on site

Power and water are the two that matter to us. The rest of this list is just so the trailer can get in and stand somewhere level.

  • A 32A electrical hook-up within reach of the pitch.
  • A mains water point we can connect to.
  • A pitch on firm, level ground, clear of your guest route.
  • Vehicle access to the pitch for the trailer and the towing vehicle.
  • An agreed arrival window, confirmed with the venue rather than assumed.
  • Somewhere to dispose of waste water if the venue has it — we take it away otherwise.

Pricing

what it costs

Price depends on the date, the location, the hours and how many people we are looking after. Send us those and we will put together a price for the booking as a whole.

Everything that comes with a booking — the trailer, the barista, the menu and the clear-down — is listed in full on events and private hire.

Questions

industry & association events, answered

Can you serve an evening event rather than a daytime one?

Yes, and most of these are evenings. Tell us the hours you want covered when you enquire and the quote will reflect them, rather than us pricing a daytime booking and adding to it afterwards.

Can you work alongside the venue's bar?

Yes, and it's the normal arrangement. We're not selling what the bar sells and we don't need their counter. We agree our times with the venue in advance so the two of us take turns rather than talk over each other.

Do you understand how a production room works?

We run craft services for film and television as well as events, and we're listed on 4RFV, the directory the UK film, television and video industry books from. A room that all wants a coffee at the same moment is familiar territory.

How many people can you serve?

That depends on how long we have got with them more than the headcount. Send us both and we'll tell you whether one setup covers it — we would much rather size it around your evening than quote you a number off a page.

we would love to look after your room

Tell us the date, the venue, the room's schedule and the headcount, and we'll come back with a price and make it happen.
