festivals, fairs and markets

Village fêtes, county shows, food fairs, farmers' markets and festival weekends. We trade a whole day rather than a slot, so the trailer is set up before the gates open and still serving when the stalls start packing down. Tell us your pitch, your hook-up and your trading hours.

All we need is a 32A electrical hook-up and a mains water point — worth checking with your venue early.

Festivals, fairs & markets

trading a full day

Set up before the gates
Pitched, levelled, connected and pouring before the first visitor is through, so the early ones get a coffee straight away.
Busy all day
Gates open to packing up, we're there and pouring. Nothing shuts between the busy stretches and nobody runs out of steam by three o'clock.
Hot day or cold
Espresso and hot chocolate for a March fête; smoothies and iced drinks for a July show. Tell us which one you're expecting and we'll weight the menu towards it.
Paperwork for the organiser
Insurance certificates, food hygiene registration and equipment test certificates sent over for your files, and allergen information on everything we serve.

From you

what we need on site

Power and water are the two that matter to us. The rest of this list is just so the trailer can get in and stand somewhere level.

  • A 32A electrical hook-up within reach of the pitch.
  • A mains water point we can connect to.
  • A pitch on firm, level ground, clear of your guest route.
  • Vehicle access to the pitch for the trailer and the towing vehicle.
  • An agreed arrival window, confirmed with the venue rather than assumed.
  • Somewhere to dispose of waste water if the venue has it — we take it away otherwise.

Pricing

what it costs

Price depends on the date, the location, the hours and how many people we are looking after. Send us those and we will put together a price for the booking as a whole.

Everything that comes with a booking — the trailer, the barista, the menu and the clear-down — is listed in full on events and private hire.

Questions

festivals, fairs & markets, answered

Do you trade at markets and shows as a stall?

Tell us the market or the show and the dates and we'll let you know whether we can cover them. We would rather answer a real date than publish a list of pitches that goes out of date.

Do you need a hook-up on a field site?

Yes. We need a 32A electrical hook-up and a mains water point, so a field with neither of those isn't one we can do at the moment. Tell us what the site has and we will let you know either way.

Can you trade a multi-day festival?

Ask. Multi-day and overnight bookings are quoted with the travel and the hours in them rather than as a day rate multiplied up. Send the dates, the pitch and the footfall you're expecting.

What paperwork can you send us?

Our public and products liability and employers' liability certificates, our council food hygiene registration and our equipment test certificates, all on request. The FHRS inspection is pending and the rating will be published as soon as it's issued.

we would love a pitch at yours

Send us the dates, the pitch, your trading hours and the hook-up you can offer, and we'll come back with a price and make it happen.
